Synopsis of Course Content
This course focuses on storytelling, and explores
advanced digital video cinematography tools and
techniques for both studio and field. Students will
operate HD video cameras, use light meters,
determine set and lighting needs, block scenes,
mount and use a matte box, and become familiar
with topics including film space, continuity, lenses,
color, filters, and camera control. Over the course of
the semester, students will work together to
produce a number of short stories in both field and
studio environments.

Final Examination: 40%
